Every survey flown to a plan.
Before we arrive, the flight is planned around your building: a fixed distance from the wall, fixed overlap between photos and a set of pre-decided capture points. That is what makes our elevations measurable, our reports complete, and next year’s survey directly comparable with this one.
Six capture point types, set before take-off
Each point has a fixed position, camera angle and overlap. The pilot flies them in order and checks coverage at hold points before leaving site, so nothing is missed and nothing depends on guesswork in the air.
Every face, row by row
Horizontal rows from 2 m up to above the parapet, square to the wall, at a fixed distance all the way round.
Faces joined, not guessed
A vertical column at each corner on the 45° line, so the elevations join into one continuous record of the building.
A measurable roof plan
A top-down grid flown as a mapped mission, extending past the roof edge so every outlet, upstand and gutter is in frame.
The whole building in 3D
Two circuits at different heights and camera angles, used to tie the elevations and roof into a 3D model where one is needed.
What the surface hides
A closer, slower grid with the thermal camera for moisture and heat loss, flown only in the right conditions for a reliable reading.
Detail where it matters
Zoom or telephoto shots of every crack, joint, fixing and failed repair found during the flight, tagged to its face and floor.
Planned capture makes a better report
Measurable
A fixed distance and a measured reference on every face mean the stitched elevations are to scale. Repair areas and lengths are measured, not estimated by eye.
Complete
The pilot checks coverage, sharpness and overlap at hold points before moving on. Gaps are re-flown on the day, not discovered in the office.
Repeatable
The same capture points can be flown again next year. You can see exactly what has changed, and prove that repairs were done.
Five stages, one standard
Before the day
Building measured from plans or maps, airspace checked, capture points and stand-off set.
On site
Elevation grids, corners, roof grid, then orbits, thermal and close-ups as the job needs.
Hold points
Sharpness, overlap and coverage checked before each move and before leaving site.
In the office
Photos stitched into scaled elevations and a roof plan. Every frame reviewed for defects.
To you
Defects numbered, measured and graded, with a clickable web version and the full photo set.
